El Telar (The Loom) pays homage to our family’s roots in the textile business. It is our flagship wine made from a single plot of 75+ year old monastrell vines yielding less that 1K per plant. Mediterranean in style, it balances power and elegance beautifully. WINEMAKING: Manually harvested in individual small crates followed by a strict selection process at the winery. Cool temperature maceration and fermentation with skins and seeds for a total of 21 days. Aged for 18 months in 500L new French oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTE: Inky dark cherry in colour, bursting with black fruit. Mineral and spices on the nose and well balanced and smooth on the palate. Full bodied and fleshy in the mouth with pronounced sweet tannins and a lingering finish.
